Be careful not to confuse complacency with contentment , oft times we settle for a way of life that is  quite short of what God had in mind for us. God never said not to plan and hope, and work to achieve earthly goals, just to keep them in the proper perspective.

The Weight.

The weight is not your friend, it seeks to pund you down

grind you into the concrete like dust

the weight seeks inflame your tendons and fry your muscles

the weight desires fear from you

give it none

Fight it, push and pull hard against it

show it how weak it is in your hands

and after you conquer it

keep fighting for there's a heavier weight

ahead.
